March 2007. A major new version of the CAPIX Investment and Treasury software is released to clients. Version 7 includes many enhancements to improve the software automation and facilitate better business processes. Microsoft Office 2003 or later technology is required to use Version 7 of the CAPIX software. This new version has been tailored better support the new features in Windows Vista. May 2006. A major new version of the CAPIX Investment and Treasury software is released to clients. Version 6 includes new modules for Risk Management and Real-time Data links. January 2005. A major upgrade to the CAPIX Internet eXchange (CiX) software package has been released. This new version is now based on the new Microsoft "dotNet" technology. March 2004. A new product "CAPIX Investment Manager" (CIM) is released. CIM is designed to support the operations of Fund and Investment Managers. CIM is largely based on the existing CTM product, with extra modules for Equities, Performance Measurement and Capital Gains Tax. October 2003. Amcor Limited goes live with CAPIX Treasury Centre (CTC). The Amcor implementation is the largest corporate treasury sale in the region for the year and adds a large and high profile corporate treasury to the expanding CAPIX client list. March 2003. Grange Securities, the largest independent Bond broker in Australia, selects the CAPIX Broking System (CBS) for their middle and back office operations. CBS uses a HTML interface for deal capture across four offices in various Australian states, allowing real-time management and straight-thru-processing of the Grange Bond portfolios. July 2000. A new Exchange for the trading of equities derivatives, OPTEX, selects the CAPIX Internet Exchange (CIX) product as the technology platform for operating the exchange. Key features of this project are an Internet-focused delivery of trading services, as well as tight vertical integration and a low cost per transaction. June 2000. Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA) implements the CAPIX Internet Exchange (CIX) for Internet-based trading of Bonds with their institutional clients. CBA subsequently purchases two additional CIX modules. May 2000. CAPIX expands by acquiring the Simpking Pty Ltd web-design business, which is integrated and renamed as CAPIX eCommerce Pty Ltd. Practical Treasury Systems Pty Ltd has been renamed CAPIX Treasury Systems Pty Ltd for more consistent branding. March 26 2000. Johnson Taylor Corporate have been given the mandate to act as brokers for CAPIX and manage the listing of CAPIX Limited on the ASX. Johnson Taylor Corporate are the Corporate Finance division of Johnson Taylor, a medium-sized national Australian Stock Broking firm.

January 28 2000. The CAPIX Limited board of directors has resolved to apply to list CAPIX on the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX). CAPIX Limited make a strategic investment in Internet and Multimedia design company Simpking Pty Ltd. November 1999. CAPIX Limited closes first round of private venture capital raising in preparation for our application for listing on the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX) in July 2000. August 1999. Hudson Securities becomes the first Australian stock broking client to use our Internet-based securities trading software. March 1999. PTM 2000 Version 8.1 is released. Version 8.1 is a minor upgrade which includes five new reports and mainly cosmetic improvements. February 1999. News Limited becomes the 40th PTM 2000 installed site. December 1998. PTS office moves to new address Level 2, 159 High Street, Prahran VIC 3181. Extra office space is required for additional staff. To better support interstate and overseas clients a toll-free number is now available. The new phone number is 1300 65 0055. October 1998. PTM 2000 Client/Server module has been added. This allows PTM 2000 data to be stored in client/server databases including Microsoft SQL Server, Sybase and Oracle. September 1998. PTM 2000 is released. This is a major upgrade, which is reflected in the name change from PTM Pro to PTM 2000. The system has been upgraded from 16 bit to a wholly 32 bit application. Internal version numbers have changed from 3.x to 8.x to keep them in-line with comparative Microsoft version numbers. August 1998. Ford Credit Japan becomes the first site to be installed outside of Australia. March 1998. A new module for General Ledger Integration (GL) has been added. The GL module allows the various Treasury transactions to be mapped to the Chart of Accounts for a company so that General Ledger Journals can be automatically generated for uploading into any General Ledger system. January 1999. Ford Credit adopts PTM as their standard treasury package in the Asia-Pacific region, which includes nine treasuries. December 1997. Practical Treasury Manager Professional (PTM Pro) Version 3.1 is released. PTM Pro 3.1 is fully Year 2000 tested and certified.
